Your physical and chemical balance is very important on how you feel. If you feel any discomfort or constant pain in your body, don’t ignore it. Go see your primary care provider as soon as possible to make sure that your body is functioning normally.
3. Your Story
What’s the theme of your life story? Does the story you tell yourself build you up or tear you down?
The story you tell yourself will indeed affect your mood. Language is powerful! The word you speak over yourself will influence your mood. For example, if you keep on saying “I’ll never be happy.” Unhappiness will become your life’s companion and you’ll be sad. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Kind Solomon).
If you change the theme of your story from a negative to a positive one, you’ll change your life! Instead of saying “I’ll never be happy”, ask the following questions: What lesson can I learn from my current situation and how can I be happy now?
