How to Overcome difficult times

How do you overcome difficult times?

Life has a way of kicking us when we’re down. Just when we think we can’t fall any lower, we get kicked down again.

It’s important to remember that difficult times, setbacks, failures and tragedy are a part of this life. However, they are for a season. A difficult time will not last forever. “Come what may, the sun will come out tomorrow!”

If you’re going through a rough time and feeling down, I encourage you to get back up and get the help you need to uplift your spirit, your soul, your body and move forward.

Here are some 7 tips to overcome difficult times:

  1. Pray…
  2. Meditate…
  3. Seek help…
  4. Sleep and Eat healthy meals…
  5. Exercise such as walking…
  6. Surround yourself with loving friends and family members…
  7. Hire a professional life coach or a counselor.

I leave you with one of my favorite Psalms from King David. I meditate on the proceeding Psalm when I go through a difficult time, “My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:2).
